What we collect

The submission form collects an adult’s first name and email, a guinea pig’s name, an optional caption, the uploaded photo or video, file details, consent confirmations, and the submission date. A random private reference is created for each submission.

What may become public

Only approved guinea pig media, the piggy name, and an edited caption may appear in the PurePiggy community gallery or PurePiggy social posts. Adult names and email addresses are not displayed publicly. Nothing is published automatically.

What not to submit

• Photos, video, or audio containing children or other people
• Last names, usernames, schools, addresses, license plates, or exact locations
• Media you do not own or do not have permission to share
• Unsafe handling, harmful products, stressful costumes, or inadequate habitats

Storage and review

Files are held in private storage while the adult PurePiggy account owner reviews them. Submission records are used only to moderate, publish, or remove the material. Rejected, withdrawn, and stale submissions may be permanently deleted.

Permission and removal

The adult submitter grants PurePiggy non-exclusive permission to crop, edit, and feature an approved submission on PurePiggy and its social channels. The submitter keeps ownership. Permission can be withdrawn using the private reference and original adult email on the submission page. Removal from PurePiggy-controlled pages does not guarantee deletion of copies already downloaded or shared by other people.

Children’s privacy

PurePiggy does not knowingly collect submissions directly from children. If an adult believes a child submitted personal information, they should use the removal form so the record is immediately flagged for review.
